This is an article newspaper from the Los Angeles Times, the newspaper is informing their own country on what's happening in the war, but there also informing the rest of the world. The propaganda is used to be informative, and make people aware. The main idea is to inform the American population about the invasion of Russia because the U.S. were allies with Russia. Techniques used is Logos because they're a credible source, knowing they're a journal the people will believe them.
Russia To Invade: July 29, 1914.
In the propaganda poster saying: "Draws the 7th War Loan", the audience for this poster is the Austrian-Hungary public, but also their enemies. The propaganda was used to make their allies but also their enemies aware that the country wants to continue fighting. The propaganda was published by K.U.K. Hofleiferant, drawn by Thomas Fasche. The main purpose of this picture picture is to scare their enemies, telling them the government is investing in their military. The illustrator uses Ethos because the message is not directly being told, but can be interpreted using logic. In my opinion, this is not very effective because the message is not being told, so other countries might get the wrong idea.
